  Turriff, Joanne M. (Klusmeyer) De PereAge 57, passed to her eternal reward Tuesday, February 12, 2002 after a lo ng and courageous battle with leukemia. The daughter of Paul and Agnes (Da wes) Klusmeyer was born January 8, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joanne w as a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay. Joanne married T om Turriff on June17, 1967 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church De Per e. She worked at Brown County Savings and Loan from 1963 until 1968 at whi ch time she left to stay home and be a fulltime mom. In 1987 she again sta rted to work outside the home at Maisel Chiropractic. Joanne was a Girl Sc out leader. She was active with the Notre Dame Booster Club and work ed in the Notre Dame School library while her children were students ther e. She was an assistant J.V. Tennis coach at East De Pere High School, whe re she coached her daughter Susan's J.V. tennis team. Joanne was a memb er of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church De Pere where she was a eucharist ic minister. She was a Norbertine Associate and a liturgical minister. Joa nne enjoyed tennis, cross-country skiing and counted cross-stitch. So me of Grandma Jo's most cherished moments were spent with her grandchildre n.Survivors include her husband, Tom; their children: Susan and Steve Parso ns and their children Kaitlin and Colton, Neenah; Bill and Cindy Turriff a nd their children Courtney and Allison, Fort Wayne, Indiana; her mother-in -law, Agnes Turriff, De Pere; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Sandy Klu smeyer, Abrams; nephew, Mike and Laurie Spah, De Pere. She was preced ed in death by her parents, Paul and Agnes Klusmeyer; and her father-in-la w, Norbert Turriff.Friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere fr om 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2002. Prayer service 7: 00 p.m. conducted by Rev Angelo Feldkamp O.Praem. Visitation will contin ue on Saturday, February 16, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Ma ss at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan St., De Pere. Co ncelebrated Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 16, 2002, 11:00 a. m. at the church with Rev. Angelo Feldkamp O.Praem presiding, Rev. Charl es Hoffman will be the Homilist and Rev. V. Anthony Dolski will concelebra te the Mass. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery De Pere. A memorial fund h as been established for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
