  Van De Hey, Ruben S. "Tom"Ruben S. Van De Hey "Tom", 84, Kaukauna, died on Sunday, Feb. 20, 200 5, at Franciscan Care Center. Tom was born July 21, 1920 to the late Albe rt and Mary (Bries) Van De Hey in Wrightstown. He married the former Magda len Siebers on May 27, 1943 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks. T ogether they shared 61 years of marriage. She survives. Tom was a man of s imple means who enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren. He was a longti me member of Holy Cross Parish. Tom worked at Thilmany Paper and Pulp f or 36 years retiring at age 62 in 1982 as a member of the Quarter Centu ry club. In his earlier years he worked the family farm with his father.He is survived by his wife, Magdalen Van De Hey; his son, Reginald (Kar i) Van De Hey and their four children, Dean & Andrea, Lee & Patti, Je ff & Vicki and Heidi & Brian Kavanaugh; his two daughters, Joyce & Kevin K abat and their two children, Eric & Christopher, and Marcia & Chris Wym an and their three children, Phillip, Andrew and Jeannine & Shannon Keneva n; eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brett, Danielle & Aubrie Van De H ey and Emmalea & Lucy Kenevan. He will also be missed by a sister, Delor es Brown and six sisters-in-law, Dorothy Van De Hey, Virginia Rogers, Ju ne Van Driel, Diane (Roger) Fens, Barbara Siebers and Janet "Jessie' Siebe rs; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Sandra & Jeffre y, a grandson, Todd Van De Hey; three brothers, Jerome, Ambroise (Clara) a nd Merlin Van De Hey, six sisters, Martha (Henry) Liebergen, Della (Ome r) Van De Hei, Lucille (Raymond) Kerkhoff, Mary (Marice) Daul, Lorraine (M ilford) Spaulding and Pearl (Raymond) Arnoldussen and four brothers-in-la w, Robert Brown, Glen, James and Thomas Siebers.The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at HOLY C ROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jack Mullark ey officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday at the Boettcher Fami ly Funeral Home 2401 Fieldcrest Drive from 4 p.m. until the Parish Pray er Service at 7 p.m. and again at Wednesday at Church from 10 a.m. until t he time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. T he Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 766-20 99.
