  Genevieve "Genny" Reitzner, 80, of Appleton passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth's Hospital on October 14, 2016 with loving family by her side. Genny was born August 25, 1936 to the late Leo and Lucille Dorn. She married her "Hon", Harold "Harry" Reitzner on May 11, 1957. Genny was not only a loving mother of 6, grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 12, but also a devout Catholic who often volunteered her time by cleaning church and helping serve at funerals. Genny was known for her amazing cooking, especially her pies. Her home was a welcoming place, which always included great conversation, laughter and delicious food. Genny had a kind and loving heart and is loved by so many people. Genny is survived by her sons, Bryan (Beth) of Hanover, MN; Brad (Linda) of Fox Crossing. Daughters Lynn (Tim) Hoelzel of Neenah; Renee (Jim) Schuett of Okoboji, IA; Janel (Jeff) Radloff of Jefferson, WI and Beth (Tom) Hopfenspenger of Sherwood, WI. And her brother, Leo Dorn of Appleton. Genny will be greeted in Heaven by her husband Harry, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, granddaughter Kimberly and siblings Alvin, Frances, Bernard, Lucille, Walter and Edward. Visitation for Genny will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2331 Lourdes Dr., Appleton Wednesday October 19 from 9:30 to 11:15 A.M with the funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton at 2:00 P.M. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on Oct. 16, 2016
