  Daniel Joseph Pfiester, age 23, of Green Bay, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Ashwaubenon, the result of an automobile accident. Dan was born on April 14, 1983, in Escanaba, Mich., the son of Dean and Lona Pfiester. Dan was an avid outdoorsman who loved to snowboard, go camping, fishing and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was a unique individual who touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his mother, Lona Pfiester and her special friend, Roland J. Tordeur, Green Bay; his father Dean Pfiester, Perkins, Mich.; three brothers, Adam Pfiester, U.S. Navy stationed in Japan; Tyler Johnson at home; and Josh Pfiester, Gladstone, Mich. Dan is further survived by his grandparents, Jean Johnson, Roderick Johnson, Fred and Barb Pfiester, Irene Eagle, and Lillian Johnson; great-grandma Maxine Pfiester, all of Gladstone, Mich. He is also survived by many close aunts, uncles, and cousins. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2007, with Fr. Dave Pleier celebrating. Friends may call directly at St. Bernard Parish, 2040 Hillside Lane, Green Bay, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Dan's name is being established.
