  Phyllis C. Nooyen, 77, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at her home. Phyllis was born in Green Bay, on April 7, 1930, to the late Earl and Margaret (Biebel) Fiedler. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. On Feb. 16, 1952, she married James V. Nooyen. They enjoyed 42 years together before he preceded her in death on June 3, 1994. Phyllis was a life long member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish. She was employed at her grandfather's store, Biebel's Supermarket, for nearly 60 years, having started working there when she was 10. She worked there until her retirement in 2000. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, time up north with friends and most importantly, spending time with her family. She is survived by her six daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy (Dean) Nero, Mary (Steve) Senecal, Karen (Jim) Caldie, Jean (Edwin) Vincent, all of Green Bay; Susan (Nick) Willems, De Pere; and Barbara (Brian) Garner, Oahu, Hawaii; 11 grandchildren, Alex and Diandra Nero, Julie (Tim) Heideman, Susan Senecal (fiance, Josh Rosner), Rachael (Kevin) Christens, Abby Caldie, Scott Vincent (fiancee, Michaela Hermans), Melissa and Matthew Willems, Clara and Brian Garner and one great- grandchild, Gavin Vincent. Phyllis is further survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Fiedler, Green Bay. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Fiedler. Gathering time with family and friends will be held at St. Mary of the Angels Parish, 645 S. Irwin Avenue, on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father Tom Wojciechowski, O.F. M. officiating. Entombment in Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
