  Marjorie (nee: Nichols) Heeter, 93, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2008, at Colony Oaks Care Center in Appleton. She was born in Racine on May 24, 1915, the daughter of Samuel C. and Mildred (nee: Groenke) Nichols. On July 1, 1944, Marjorie was united in marriage to Robert H. G. Heeter at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Racine. Marjorie graduated from Washington Park High School, class of 1932 and earned an associate degree in Horticulture from Gateway Technical College. She had been a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Marjorie's hobbies included collecting antique dolls, crafts, gardening and reupholstering. Surviving are her children: Robert N. Heeter of Lexington, KY; George Edward (Maureen) Heeter of Loveland, CO; Marjorie Jeanne (Bruce) Perreault of Elizabethton, TN; and Ruth Ann (Marvin Murphy) Heeter of Fremont, WI; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. G. and a sister, Vera Nichols. A graveside service will be held at Mound Cemetery, on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 1 p.m. with The Rev. Martha Berger officiating.   Out-of-Town Guests See Nichols-Heeter Marriage Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. G. Heeter are now on a short wedding trip, following their marriage at St. Luke's Episcopal church July 1 at 4 o'clock. The bride, the former Marjorie Ruth Nichols, is the daughter of Mrs. Mildred Nichols, 1920 Slauson avenue , and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Heeter. 1729 Park avenue. A large crowd attended the ceremony, among whom were out-of-towners Mrs. Charles Miller of Illinois: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deitrick, Glencoe. Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver McKnight. Minneapolis. Minn : and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Claybrough, Sault St. Marie, Mich Palms. regal lilies, shasta daisies, feverfew, candelabra , and candles tied wit h white on the pews decorated the church as Rev. Alexander Simpson united the couple in a double ring cere- mony. Lois Nelson sang "Ave Maria" and "The Lord's Prayer" The bride was in white ma- - quiset e with Chantilly lace in- - serts and a ruffled-edged train and finger tip veil with a tiara of or- ange blossom and loops of satin. Roses, sweet peas and baby's breath were in her bouquet. Maid of honor. Marion C. Otterson, was dressed in blue velv- eray marquisette , blue tiara and veil, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Bridesmaids Mrs. Marilyn Berner and Miss Alice Magee were both in pink and carried bouquets of blue delphiniums. Jolene An-- dersen and Carol Groenke, flower girls were dressed in white em- - broidered marquisette with white tiaras a d veils. Clifford Berard was bestman, Dennis Andersen was ring bearer, and Harold Christiansen and O. Andresen ushered. Peggy Mageee and Alice Jean Nield poured at the reception held for 200 at Park Place where dinner was served for the bridal couple and families. Pre-nuptial parties were given by Mrs. Harry Anderson. Mrs. Ole Andresen, Mrs. Robert I. Heeter, Miss Marion Otterson, Mrs. Marilyn Berner, Mrs George Nield, Mmes. Esther Gerken, Charles Magee and Russell Groenke.
