  Gerald Ernest Conger, age 76, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008. He was the son of the late Warren and Mary (Faust) Conger. Gerald was the beloved husband and friend of Audrey for 49 years. They were married at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Oshkosh on May 23, 1953. Gerald was a Korean War veteran serving in the Marine Corps. Gerald is survived by his three children: Terry (Wendy) Conger, Toni (Steve) Cross, Tracey (Dan) Weiland; four brothers: Donald (Nancy), Eugene (Ginny), Russell, and Leslie Conger; two sisters: Adelene Strasser and Evelyn Bartlett; and many other relatives, nieces, nephews and special friends. Along with his parents, Gerald was also preceded in death by his wife Audrey; two brothers: Edwin and Harvey Conger; and one sister, Arlene Luce. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. Memorials in Gerald's name can be made to: St. Peter's Catholic Church in Oshkosh, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or the Town of Vinland First Responders.
