  Wuebben, Lauri Lauri left the loving embraces of her family and took the hand of Jesus on July 18, 2008, after a brave battle to recover from injuries sustained on July 9, 2008. Lauri was the beloved wife and best friend of David and loving mother of Timothy. She was the precious daughter of Joann and Larry Larson and sister of Jodi (Bob) Tank and Jack (Wanda) Larson. Lauri was the caring daughter-in-law of Arthur (the late Theodosia) Wuebben, sister-in-law to Carolyn Clauter and Andrea (Dennis) Grasmick and loving aunt to Nathan, Matthew, Nicholas, Bailey, Shelby, Andrew (Emily), Gabrielle, Michael and Adam. She was the special granddaughter of Burt and Alice Larson and also to the late Harold and Katherine Hoppe. Lauri, 48, was born Sept. 3, 1959, in Waupun, Wis. She graduated from Waupun High School and attended UW-Stevens Point, where she met Dave. They were married May 17th, 1986, in Port Edwards, Wis. Lauri and Dave enjoyed a loving and happy partnership. She had a knack for making their house a special, loving home. Lauri worked in finance for Hillhaven Nursing Homes, but left there to stay home with Tim during his early years. She was an active volunteer at school and church. Returning in recent years to the work force, Lauri joined Jeweler's Mutual in the Human Resources Department. Lauri was successful in her work and any other endeavors she pursued. She was appreciated by many. Lauri enjoyed stamping, feeding the birds, gardening with Dave and supporting Tim in all of his interests. She also enjoyed spending time with wonderful friends and family. She was known for her outgoing, caring and vibrant personality. The funeral service for Lauri will be at Shepherd of The Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville on Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 11 a.m. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A special thank you is extended to friends and family for their outpouring of love and support. Also, a thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Critical Care Unit at Theda Clark in Neenah.
