  Our angel, Carol Mae (Beyer) Ludtke, age 68, of Neenah, was granted her wings on Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Crestwood Homes with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Carol was born on December 2, 1939, in Shiocton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Adela (Schroeder) Beyer. On June 24, 1978, she was united in marriage to Earl Ludtke. After graduating, Carol lived in Appleton and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and served as Poppy Treasurer. She then moved to Plainfield and owned Pine Grove Motel and Restaurant, later living in Almond, Waupaca and Wautoma. Carol was a very religious person and held multiple positions at her churches along the way. She now belongs to Grace Lutheran Church, Neenah. Carol will be remembered for her love of cooking and hostessing at the Rosewood Inn, Wild Rose. She loved rummage sales and going for parts for Earl. Her dog, Cookie, was an excellent companion for her. Carol's family was always first on her list and she was very proud of all of them. Carol is survived by her husband of 29 years, Earl, Neenah; her daughter, Cindy Ludtke, Neenah; three grandchildren: Bradley, Catherine and Benjamin, Neenah; step-children: Michael (Teresa), Robert (Jean), Plainfield; Randy, Waupaca; Lee Ludtke, Sandra (John) Gipson, Wisconsin Rapids; David, Wild Rose; Linda Howard Plainfield. She is further survived by numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother, Roy (Patti) Beyer, two sisters-in-law: Bonita Beyer, Shiocton, and Elaine (Harold) Vanderhei, Cambridge, and a brother-in-law, Martin Greves, Wautoma. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christine, three brothers: Robert, Donald and Russell; two sisters: Laverne and Doris; three sisters-in-law: Erna, Eileen and Evelyn; mother and father-in-law, Earl and Edith Ludtke. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Grace Lutheran Church, Neenah. Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at Westgor Funeral Home, Neenah, visitation will continue on Thursday at the church from 10 until the hour of service.
