  Philip F. Freiberg, age 77, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 26, at his home. He was born on June 19, 1937, in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Theodore and Cecelia (Kasper) Freiberg. Phil served his country in the US Army. On June 22, 1963, Phil married Darlene Wohlt at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fremont. She preceded him in death on December 1, 2008. Phil was employed by Miller Electric for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Appleton, where he served as an usher. Phil enjoyed fishing, watching sports and golfing. Phil is survived by two daughters, Cathi(Dave)Stram, Brookfield, WI; and Lori(Jerry)Seubert, Waukesha, WI; four grandchildren, Aaron and Lauren Seubert and Michael and Kate Stram. A memorial service honoring Phil's life will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:30 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 3009 N. Meade St., Appleton. Pastor Kurt Hoffman will officiate. Military rites will follow the service at church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Private graveside services will be held in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Fremont. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on June 29, 2014
