Smith will leave Thursday morning for Detroit, Mich., to attend the wedding of Miss Janet Carncross to William Smith Chandler, of Detroit, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Chandler, Glen Ellyn, Ill., which will take place Saturday morning in Detroit. The wedding ceremony will be simple and will be followed by a breakfast for immediate relatives at the Wardell hotel. Miss Carncross will be graduated from the University of Michgan, Ann Arbor, Monday morning, taking her degree in sociology.
