Edward J. Harris, 75, Appleton, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born November 13, 1934, in Oshkosh to the late Nathaniel Harris and Clara Gee. He married Mary Jane Ott on August 20, 1976, and they were members of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Appleton. Ed enjoyed the outdoors: fishing, hunting, gardening and camping. He also loved watching old western movies and being a truck driver exploring our great country and its beauty. Survivors include his children: Tom (Tracy) Harris, Florida; Larry (SamChin) Harris, GA, and Becky (Jayson) Jung, Stevens Point; grandchildren: Elizabeth and Nick Harris; grandcats: Lilly, Gandalf and Simba. Funeral services for Ed will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2010, at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. Interment will be at Eureka Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. followed by a prayer service. There will also be visitation at the church one hour prior to the mass Thursday.
