  Jack L. Brinkman, age 67, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer with his loving family by his side on Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on August 5, 1942, in Appleton; son of the late Otto and Margaret (Riehl) Brinkman. On September 9, 1961, he was united in marriage to Marilyn Beschta at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. Jack's passion was working on his '67 Camaro, he also enjoyed watching his grandson's baseball games and fishing on the Wolf River. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Marilyn Brinkman, Appleton; children: Debra Wolfe, Menasha; Donna (Bill) Livingston, Shiocton; and Dean (Teresa) Brinkman, New London; grandchildren: Jessica (Ken) Kempf, Jennifer Wolfe, Maxwell and Megan Livingston, Connor Brinkman and Nick and Kyle Pierce; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Alexis Kempf; sisters: Betty (Dr. John) Best, Carol Hemmen, Janice (Nick) Wohlt, Linda Wichman and Barbara (Tom) Oswald; brothers: Charles (Barb), Dennis (Nancy), Lawrence (Pat) and David (Pat). Jack is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends, especially Robert Brumm. A Mass of Christian Burial for Jack will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 N. McDonald St., Appleton with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the mass. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial fund is being established in his name.
