  Mrs. Anton Kapfer, 99, formerly of Chilton, died Thursday at Pleasant View Nursing Home, DePere, where she lived the past four years. Funeral services will be at 9-30 am. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. Henry Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Kapfer was born in the Town of Stockbridge Aug. 20, 1866, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Winkler Scholz. Her husband died about 35 years ago. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and Mission Societies of St. Mary parish and a Gold Star mother of Kupsh-Brockmann Legion Post of Hilbert. Surviving are two stepdren, Mrs. Josephine Draeger, of Kaukauna and Anton Jr., of Oshkosh. Two stepchildren preceded her in death.
