  Kathryn C. Olson Kathryn Cornelia Olson, 81, Marshfield, a town of Carson native, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, died at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, where she had resided since Nov. 7. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield, with the Rev. Donald F. Wilger officiating. Burial will be in All Soul's Cemetery in Rudolph. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the services. Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Home of Marshfield is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be designated in her name to the Marshfield Medical Research Foundation or to the House of the Dove in Marshfield. Mrs. Olson was born Oct. 11, 1919, in the town of Carson, a daughter of the late William and Nellie (Van Lith) Van Ert. She attended elementary school in Rudolph and graduated from Rudolph High School. She attended vocational school in Stevens Point. She was married to Raymond E. Olson on Nov. 21, 1942, in Bremerton, Wash. He died Dec. 22, 1999. The Olsons owned and operated a restaurant in Rudolph in the late 1940s and early 1950s before moving to Redland, Ga., for a few years and then to Wisconsin Dells in 1953 when they became owners and operators of a motel until 1974. After retiring, they moved to Plover in 1980 and resided there until May 1999, when they moved to Marshfield. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. Survivors include two daughters, Karen (Alan Radebaugh) Olson, Albuquerque, N.M., and Kristine (Neil) Neinast Jr., Marshfield; two sisters, Ethel (Lee) Milner, Sacramento, Calif., and Marjorie (Robert) Little, Pulaski; two brothers, Alois (Jane) Van Ert, Rudolph, and Melvin (Mary A. "Maggie") Van Ert, Mosinee; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Randal; and two brothers, Clarence and Leo Van Ert.
