  Vandenberg, Marie (Dercks)Marie Vandenberg of Little Chute, age 80, loving wife, mother, grandmoth er and great-grandmother passed away suddenly March 22, 2006, in Foley, Al abama.Memorial Services pending. Marie was born on Mar ch 24, 1925. in Little Chute, WI. to the late Peter and Anna (Weyenberg) D ercks. On Nov. 13, 1946, she married Harry Vandenberg at St. John Nepomuce ne Catholic Church where she remained a life long member. She was a memb er of American Legion Auxiliary Post 436 Wrightstown, WI, where she w as a past president. She loved quilting, knitting, spending time with "T he Cousins" and her quilting group. She cherished the time that she spe nt with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Marie is survived by her husband, Harry, of 59 years, a son Paul (Pa m) of Little Chute and their four children: Dannielle, Vicky (Jason) McDon ald, Sally & Wendy; three daughters: Judy (Bill) Verhagen of Little Chu te and their four children: Craig (Tammy), Cathy (Mark) Beck, Judd & Jil l; Jo (Cliff) Verstegen of Kaukauna and their three children: Jerry (Jen ), Scott (Rachel) and David (Amy); Mary (Steve) Mischler of Kaukauna and t heir two children: Ryan (Jess) and Jeff. There are also 10 great-grandchil dren: Granthem, Taitum, Joshua, Hannah, Griffin, Alyse, Mitch, Ryan, Ja ck and Kara. Also survived by a sister: Betty (Quack) Peerenboom; brother s: Mark "Gus" (Bernice) Dercks and Clarence "Cunny" Dercks; sisters-in-la w: Rita Dercks, Marcy Vandenberg and Mitt Vandenberg; brothers-in-law: Ray mond (Marge) Vandenberg and Roy (Marianne) Vandenberg; nieces, nephews, co usins and friends.In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her in-laws A rt & Kate Vandenberg; brothers: George and Ves Dercks; sisters-in-law: Bet ty Dercks, Irene (Alois) School and Virginia Vandenberg; brothers-in-la w: Elmer (Ruth) Vandenberg and John Vandenberg.A celebration of Mass will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 200 6, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, with the Rev. Patrick Beno offi ciating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Gathering time with fami ly and friends will begin at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the church until t he time of Mass.
