  DuChateau, Marie A. Marie A. DuChateau, 90, 1189 Mather St., died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006. S he was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Brown County to the late Celeste and Anna (B oehm) Parins. Marie met her husband, Raymond at a Bay Beach Dance and th ey were married on Jan. 31, 1940, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. She h ad been employed by George and Marguerite Kress of Green Bay Packaging f or several years. She also did volunteer work for Annunciation Parish a nd the Neville Public Museum. Marie was a history buff and loved collecti ng and sharing the history of Green Bay's west side and was a contribut or to the book "On Broadway." She always talked about living until the a ge of 100 so she could get a letter from the president. Marie enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines and dancing with her husban d, Ray, in the San Sousi Dance Club. She enjoyed gardening and her flowe rs were her passion and her love. She was often called Johnny Appleseed be cause of the many trees she grew from seed. Her cooking, baking and canni ng skills were excellent and there was never a walk that was too far for h er to take. Marie also loved helping out her friends and relatives, no mat ter what the task at hand. Survivors include four children and their spouses, Richard Duchateau, Gre en Bay; Rita and Jack DeBauche, Oconto; Karen and David Loritz, Two River s; James and Claire DuChateau, Nekoosa, Wis.; a daughter-in-law, Nancy O'K eefe, Pulaski; 13 grandchildren, Brett and his fiancee, Tonya, Scott and h is fiancee, Amber, Kristin Duchateau, Paul Detaege, Michelle (Trent) Mille r, Bart DeBauche, John DeBauche, Mamie (Josh) Lintereur, Peter and Stev en Loritz, Nicholas (Michelle) Duchateau, Allison and Therese DuChateau; f our great-grandchildren, Tristan and Myah Miller, Kaitlyn Gurske Duchatea u, Colin Duchateau; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Milton and Diane Pari ns, Raphael and Glenna Parins; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marc ie and Dick Lucente, Jackie Matuszak, Carol Jean Roberts, Bernice and Ronn ie Kryger; two sisters-in-law, Agnes Parins and Verna Mae Parins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; a son-in-law, Byron Det aege; her brothers and sisters, Celeste Jr., "Sonny" Parins, Don Parins, J oseph Parins, Lucille Boettcher and Ann Haraburd. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p. m. Monday. A parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday. Friends m ay also call at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., fr om 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrat ed at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev.
