  Robert Reader, 67 of the Town of Stockbridge, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015, following a 19-month battle with cancer. Cancer took his body, but never took his fighting spirit or sense of humor. Bob was born to the late Edward and Genevieve Reader. He proudly served his country for nine years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bob also worked for Appleton Papers for twenty-eight years, retiring in 2008. Christmas was his favorite time of year. He shopped and wrapped, and couldn't wait to see everyone's face light up when they saw a room full of gifts. And Bob's best gift was that he never wanted anything in return. He was the "King of Gadgets" and never gave a gift without all of the accessories or batteries. He was also an avid Badger and Packer fan. In his free time, Bob enjoyed traveling the backroads with Mary and stopping for a burger along the way. He worked tirelessly on his lawn and snowplowing until it was meticulous. Bob will be deeply missed by his wife Mary. They were soulmates from the start, twenty-eight years ago. His children are Anthony (Barb) Reader, Brian (Christine) Reader, Tammy (Todd) Krull, and David (Valerie) Raatz. There are also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
