  See Image James M Harney 1930-2000, James M Harney, 65, of W auwatosa, Wisconsin, died Thursday, July 27th, 2000, in St. Mary's Hospi ce in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was born November 18th, 1934, to Martin a nd Rosella Harney in Cloquet. He graduated from University of Minneso ta at Duluth and received a master's degree in English and Speech, and a d octoral degree in education from Northern Illinois University. Jim was a d evoted educator who was respected by his colleagues and loved by his stude nts. He served for 11 years as assistant professor of education at Troy S tate University before retiring in December. He previously was a communi ty college administrator and teacher. He also spent 19 years in public sc hool teaching in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. Jim also loved the mu sic and was an accomplished singer and pianist who often entertained at pr ivate and public events. Jim was preceded in death by an infant daughte r, Corinne Harney. He is survived by his son Roy Harney of Eagan, his mot her Rosella Harney of Cloquet, father, Martin O'hAtairne of Port Washingto n, Wisconsin, a brother David (Rosalee) Harney of Grafton Wisconsin a nd a sister Catherine (Joseph) Tierney of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. A memori al Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday August 7th, at Queen of Pea ce Catholic Church in Cloquet. Internment will be held at Old Cavalry ceme tery in Cloquet.
