  Death of August Bendrock August Bendrock, a pioneer railroad man formerly of Kaukauna, died Saturday at his home in Milwaukee. The body was brought to Kaukauna for burial and the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Bendrock was born in Germany, May 18, 1861. After coming to America and settling in Kaukauna he secured employment with the Chicago and Northwestern railroad and was advanced till he held the position of conductor. For many years he lived in Kaukauna and then moved to Oconto Falls, having a run from that place. He finally returned to Kaukauna and had lived here 17 years before moving to Milwaukee about a year ago. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Modern Woodmen of America and Kaukauna Assembly No. 11 of Equitable Fraternal Union. He is survived by his wife, who before marriage was Miss Anna Koch of Kaukauna, two sons, Kenneth and Cecil of Milwaukee, and three daughters, Mrs. John Welch who lives near Kaukauna, Mrs. Ernest Wahlers of Milwaukee and Miss Gladys Bendrock of Milwaukee. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Reformed church under the auspices of the local Odd Fellows. The Rev. E. L. Worthman conducted the services. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
