Cash man, age 25, b. New Hampshire, father ThomasCashman, mother Catherine Andrews and Johanna McNamara, age 19, born Wisco nsin, father Martin McNamara, mother Johanna McMahon married August 26, 18 80 at 'the Catholic Church' in said county. Witnesses: Thomas McNamara a nd Annie Cashman. Priest John L. Lee. 1878 Land Records:Book 27, pg 360:Martin McNamara purchased land May 27, 1 878 from Jas. L. Slocum and wife (the NW 1/4 and W 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of se ction 10,township 3 N range 15 E. 1879 Book 30, pg 204 In May of 1879 they sold 1 acre to the Prairie Uni on Church. Martin McNamara later sold 160 acres to Thomas McNamara and wife. 1880 Book 32, pg 28 - T.E. Cashman bought 110 acres from Ed. S. Towle Febr uary 19, 1880 -section 21 Township 3 Range 16 E. 1881 Book 33, page 429, T.E. Cashman sold it to Catherine Cashman, (I thi nk it was about 1 year later in 1881). Catherine sold it to a John Bruer in Book 36 pag 188------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- ---------Johanna died in 1883, I believe in child birth, as her daughter Mary di ed in infancy. Her other daughter, Kathryn Cashman married P.D. Sheeha n. Thomas E Cashman moved to Oklahoma Territory in 1889 for the land rus h. He helped to plan and build the first rural Catholic Church in Oklaho ma St. Patrick's at Lockridge Oklahoma. In 1894 he married Margaret Sheeh an Sullivan and they had two daughters. Margurite Evelyn Cashman and Ire ne Cashman. Margurite married Harry P. Anderson in 1917 in Enid OK. Th ey had two daughters, Donna Evelyn Anderson and Norean Elleanor Anderso n. Norean is my grandmother, she married E.B. Flaig in 1946. Their olde st son, Timothy Alan Flaig, is my dad.Hope this helps some. I don't know where Johanna is burried, but I assu me it was in either Falls City NE, or Barada, NE. Shannon Hoverson Thomas E Cashman died in 1917. Johanna McNamara died in 1883 in Falls Cit y, NE. They had two children, Kathryn and Mary. Mary died in infancy. Th omas married Margaret Sheehan Sullivan in 1894 in Lockridge, OK.
