  Bevers, Mrs. Albin (Virginia Hooyman) AppletonAge 81, passed away unexpectedly at Appleton Medical Center on Monday, Ju ly 22, 2002. She was born on February 24, 1921 in Appleton, the daught er of the late Ryan and Bertha (Sombke) Hooyman. Virginia became the bri de of Albin L. Bevers on June 1, 1946 and they shared 56 years together.Virginia was a charter member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and al so an active member of the Chalice Circle of King's Daughters for ov er 25 years.Survivors include her husband Albin; four daughters and three sons-in-la w, Carla Sexton, Susan (Christopher) Sitzmann, Patricia (William) Dean, a ll of Appleton, and Nancy (William) Hannon of Oakdale, Minn; nine grandchi ldren, Jennifer, Andrew, and Carrie Sexton, Sara, Katie, and Elizabeth Sit zmann, Scott and Kristi Dean and Megan Hannon. She is also survived by t wo sisters and a brother-in-law: Ramona (Thomas) Butler and Betty Steffen s, all of Appleton; a sister-in-law, Serina (Edward) Oliva, Kaukauna a nd a brother-in-law, Lee (Char) Bevers, Cedarburg, Wisconsin.She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers-i n-law, Mildred (Robert) Kranhold, Florence (John) Fentz and Charles Steffe ns.The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Ju ly 24 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, corner of Glendale and McDona ld Sts., with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Interment will be at the St ar of Hope Mausoleum Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call direct ly at the church from 9 a.m.Wednesday until the time of the service.
