  Marvin W. Mielke, age 78, Nichols, WI, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 3, 1989, in an Appleton Hospital. He was born May 17, 1910, in New London, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Mielke. He farmed and was lifelong resident of the Nichols area. He was employed at Nichols Co-op for 15 years prior to retirement in 1972. He was a member of Immanual Lutheran Church, Cicero, and past member of the Church Council. Surviving are: 1 daughter and son-in-law: Shirley & Duane Tietz, Nichols; 3 sons and daughter-in-law: LeRoy & Barb Mieke, Appleton, Russell & Joan Mielke, Black Creek, Roger & Ruth Mielke, Kaukauna; 11 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were: his wife, Gladys (Spaulding) in 1980; 1 grandson, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
