  Nancy A. Hoier, 67, Hortonville, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at New London Family Medical Center. She was born on January 6, 1938, in New London, daughter of the late Sylvester & Grace (Herter) Buskirk. On December 2, 1956, she married Leo Hoier in Hortonville. Nancy graduated from New London High School with the class of 1955. Nancy was an excellent cook. She volunteered at the Hortonville/Dale Food Pantry for over 20 years. Nancy cared for her husband Leo for the past 8 years following his accident. She was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Stephensville. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Leo; two daughters, Therese (Randy) Relien, Hortonville; Peggy Hoier, Madison; a son, Dennis (Sharon) Hoier, Stephensville; three grandchildren, Christy (Jody) Doering, Amanda Relien and her fiance Adam Schopp and Timothy Relien; three great-grandchildren, Madelyn Relien, Carter Doering and Alexia Strong; two sisters, Pat Groshek, Wausau; Joan Fleischer, Appleton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Mary Ann. The Funeral Mass that will celebrate Nancy?s life will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Stephensville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
