  Mary M. Kling New London Age 80, died Saturday March 6, 2004 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Appleton. She was born on October 29, 1923 in New London daughter of the late Sherry and Mary (Moon) Therens. On May 1, 1943 she was united in marriage to Carl Kling, he preceded her in death in 1983. Mary was a longtime resident of the Shiocton and New London areas. She was an avid reader of mystery novels. She was past President of the American Legion Auxiliary in Shiocton and also a gold star mother. She is survived by four daughters: Bonnie (Bill) Cather, Euless, Texas; Nancy (Rick) Van Hoof, Little Chute; Kathy (Art) Malouf, New London; Carla (Dana) Whitley, Fort Worth, Texas; four sons Tom (Debbie) Kling, New London; Jim (Jan) Kling, Appleton; David (Kim) Kling, Shiocton; Tim Kling, Appleton. Seventeen grandchildren sixteen great-grandchildren further survive Mary. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother Bill, a sister Helen and four children: Bob, Mike, Rick and Mary Kay. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Luke Bocher officiating. Burial will be in the Bovina Cemetery in Shiocton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Cline & Hanson Funeral Home 209 W.
