  Baehman, Herbert O. Appleton Age 78, died on Sunday, February 10, 2002 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born in Appleton on December 23, 1923, to the late William and Elizabeth (Wilke) Baehmann. He married Ann Werner on August 31, 1974. Herb was a member of Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army in the 44th Infantry Division. He owned and operated Herb's Service Station in Appleton. He was also an avid Packer Fan and a past member of the Greenville Snowmobile Club. He is survived by his wife: Ann, his children from his marriage of Verna Kasten: Lee (Marianne) Baehman, LuAnn (Steve) Timm and Lori (Bill) Schroeder all of Appleton; grandchildren: Brian (Amy) Baehman, Jana (Brian) Hughes, Erin and Tracey Timm and Philip and Chris Schroeder and one expected great grandchild; a brother, Carl (Nancy) Baehnman, Appleton; a sister Anita (Tom) Lemke, Shawano; a sister-in-law, Lucille Baehman, Weyauwega; special friends: Orrin Romenesko and Ray and Muriel Tiedt. He is further survived by his wife's family, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Baehnman. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Olive Ev. Lutheran Church, 930 E. Florida St., with Rev. Stephen Pope officiating. The visitation will be TODAY from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Wednesday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. A memorial has been established. The family would like to thank his good friends and the staff at Franciscan Care Center and Dr. Aristigueta and Dr. Mariano for their kindness and care. VALLEY FUNERAL HOME 2211 N.
