  Death of Peter Brill Sr aged 82 last July 2nd. Born in Colen, Rhine Germa ny came to the us at age 24. 5 years ago moved to Kaukauna from Buchana n. Survived by wife and 7 children, Hattie, Katie, Marie, Madeline, Oli ve Annie and Michael. His nephews are John, William and Robert Brill of Bu chanan Mat Brill of Appleton and Jos Brill of Chicago. (Special to The Northwestern.)Kaukauna, Wis., Oct. 2.--Another aged Kaukauna pioneer has passed away after an illness extending over the past six months. Peter Brill, aged eighty=two years, for the last fifty-six years a resident of South Kaukauna, died at midnight Monday at his home on the South side. Mr. Brill came here in 1851 from his native land, Germany, settling as a pioneer in the then unbroken wilderness covering the present locality of South Kaukauna and the town of Buchanan. Not a railroad had been built in Wisconsin then and Indian tribes roamed all over the territory surrounding the little aamlet of Kaukaunlin. Mr. Brill did not wed until he was sixty-one years of age, just twenty-one years ago. Surviving is his wife Mrs. Ellen Brill and Seven children; as follows: Hattie, Peter, Marie, Madeline, Olive, Anna and Michael Brill, all at home. The funeral is to be held next Friday morning at nine o'clock from St. Mary's church. Rev. F. X. Steinbrecher officiating.
