  Van Dyke, Richard AnthonyRichard Anthony Van Dyke passed away July 17, 2005, at the age of 97. Bo rn on Jan. 21, 1908, he lived all of his life in the Wrightstown area. Ric hard retired as a machinist from Northwest Engineering in Green Bay. Throu ghout his life, he enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hunting with his two do gs, Jack and Star, gardening, working in his apple orchard and visiting wi th his family and many friends. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Cat holic Church in Wrightstown. For the last few years, Richard has made h is home at St. Paul's Manor in Kaukauna.Richard is survived by two sons, Richard M. (Vonnie) Van Dyke, Kimberly; V erl Van Dyke, Downers Grove, Ill.; three daughters, Darlene Gage (former ly Mrs. Charles Lorenz), Neenah; Vivian (Harold) Schmidt, Neenah; Barba ra (Ron) Westerback, Camden, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildr en; two brothers, Harvey (Irene) Van Dyke, Waupun; and Robert (Doris) V an Dyke, Appleton; and one sister, Alrita (Johnny) Wisneski, Freedom.He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Van Dyke (Gerrits); his fath er, Arnold Van Dyke; his wife of 54 years, Esther Van Dyke (Davis); his br other, Clarence Van Dyke, Green Bay; three sisters, Clara Neiling, Appleto n; Catherine Meulemans, Wrightstown; and Leona Van De Leygraph, Kaukaun a; infant child, Richard H., son of Richard M. (Vonnie) Van Dyke, Kimberl y; daughters-in-law, Carol Van Dyke and Sophie Van Dyke, wives of Verl V an Dyke, Downers Grove, Ill.; and his special friend, Nell Eiting, Wrights town.Family and friends may call Friday, July 22, 2005, from 4:30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m. at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St., Wrightstown. Visitati on will continue on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at S t. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be c elebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday at church, with Monsignor John Schuh officia ting, with a luncheon to follow. Interment will be 1 p.m. Saturday in S t. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery, Wrightstown.The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Sisters and sta ff of St. Paul's Manor for the kindness and love they have shown to Richa rd while he was a resident.
