  Hartzheim, Anna M. AppletonAge 99, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at a local nursing center. An na was born in Appleton on July 13, 1903; daughter of the late Gustave a nd Anna Schaefelke. On June 24, 1923, she married Victor Hartzheim; he pre ceded her in death in April of 1974. Anna was a devoted wife, mother, a nd grandmother who enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and bingo, making quil ts for her family and friends, and watching game shows on television.Anna is survived by her daughter, Elaine Lillge of Appleton; her son, Ja ck Hartzheim of Harrison; a sister, Alice Becker of Appleton; as we ll as by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Mark (Georgi a) Lillge of Appleton and their sons Justin and Jason; Drew (Minnie) Lill ge of Appleton and their daughter Ashley; Mary (Dick) Brock of Appleton a nd their children Andy, Ross, and Katie; Kevin (Patricia) Lillge of Applet on and their daughters Brittany and Maria; John (Jane) Hartzheim of Applet on and their children Amy (Ron) Schuh, J.J., and Adam Hartzheim; Vicki (Ro n) Fritz of Eagan, Minnesota and their children Tina, Ryan, and Scott (Jen nifer) Fritz; Laurie (Pat) Doule of Appleton and their children Kelly, Er in, and Shannon; Betsy Hartzheim of Appleton and her son Zachary; and Car ol (Freddy) Ramirez of Appleton and their daughter Cori. Anna is further s urvived by her great-great-grandchildren: Jacob and Ian Schuh, Hannah Frit z, and Kailey and Carlos Jr., as well as by many nieces, nephews, other re latives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her h usband, a grandson Kurt Hartzheim, a son-in-law Loren Lillge, and daughter -in-law Delores Hartzheim, sisters Frieda Reddin, Harriet Brandt Jesson, L ucille Schenk, and Lillian Schaefelke; brothers Henry, Ben, and William Sc haefelke, and a brother-in-law Bill Becker.The funeral liturgy for Anna will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 1 3, 2003 at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Morrison Street at Wisconsin Aven ue in Appleton with Fr. William Hoffman officiating. Interment wi ll be at Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. Friends may call directly at the ch urch on Thursday from 9 AM until the hour of the liturgy. In lieu of flowe rs, a memorial fund in Anna's name has been established.The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the staff at Man or Care for their wonderful care, as well as to Heartland Hospice, especia lly Bill, who did so much to make mother comfortable.
