  Family History Researcher	From a letter to Margaret McCoy from Mrs. David Timm, dated 12-17-92, pg 1: Casper Griesbach came to the U.S.A. at the age of 23 (He was born in 1837 in Germany). Landed in New York-thence to Milwaukee & eventually to Town of Center, where he purchased land in the woods and built a log house. Casper Griesbach married Anna Bauer, who was 13, when she and her parents crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a sailing vessel. (I do not know if she had sisters or brothers or if any more were on that vessel). Casper and Anna Bauer Griesbach had a family of 8 children.
