  Bruex, Norman H. Norman H. Bruex, born in Neenah, WI, September 26, 1918, and died Kalamazoo, MI, January 17, 2008. He was the son of Aloyius and Theresa (Kronser) Bruex. Norman was a veteran of WWII, having served as a chief petty officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral and the Knights of Columbus Council 1616 4th degree. Norman owned Kalamazoo Publishing Co. for 26 years; after selling the business went into real estate and rental property. He was a kind, gentle and humorous man. He studied history and had an extensive stamp collection. Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia A., on October 1, 2007, and four children: Margaret Mary, Ann Carrol, Cecelia Marie and Gerald Thomas. Norman also lost three brothers: Robert, John and Victor Bruex. Norman has one surviving sister, Joan (Norbert) Schaefer of Appleton, WI. He has four surviving children: Cecilia Mary McCue of Parchment MI; Pamela Ann Koscumb of Colorado Springs, CO; Andrew John Bruex of Portage, MI; and Theresa Carrol Lane of Colorado Springs, CO; and two sisters-in-law: Phylis Bruex, Appleton, WI; Monica Bruex, Darboy. Life is not always easy! To loose both parents in three months is not easy no matter how old you or they are. Put in by daughter Cecilia Mary McCue of Parchment.
