  Mrs. Mary (Mae) Arts, 1032 Grand Ave., Little Chute, Age 73, passed away at 10 a.m. Tuesday after a short illness. She was born in the town of Vandenbroek October 16, 1888 and had been a resident of Little Chute all of her life. Mrs. Arts was a member of the St. Elizabeth Society of St. John's Chu rch. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Esler, Milwaukee; one son, Norbert VanGompel, Menasha; six brothers, Joseph DeBruin, Boyd, Wis., Frank, Little Chute, Albert, Appleton, Simon, Milwaukke, George, Janesville and Anton, Birch River, Canad a; two sisters, Mrs. Martin Hendricks, Little Chute and Mrs. Elmer Berg, Green Bay; 7 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral HOme, Little Chute after 2 p.m. Thursday with the rosary being prayed at 9 p.m. Funeral services wil l be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic church, Little Chute, with interment in the parish cemetery. Collapses, Dies After Attending St. John Church Cause of death of a 73 year-old Little Chute woman who collapsed in front of St. John Church after attending mass, is undetermined, C. J. Schik, acting deputy corner said today. Mrs. May Arts, 1632 N. Grand Ave., was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital about 10:30 a.m. today. She was taken to the hospital by Larry's ambulance drivers, who gave her oxygen after she collapsed. Mrs. Arts was involved in an automobile accident Feb. 23 but was not hospitalized. Schink said he wanted to determine of the accident was a contributory factor.
