  Kathleen H. Ostrenga, 86, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, formerly of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born November 30, 1929, in Wrightstown, Wisconsin to the late Herman and Catherine (Verbeten) Klister. Kathleen and Robert Ostrenga were married June 24, 1950. He preceded her in death. She attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau and was a member of St. Mary of the Angels in Green Bay. Survivors include her son, William "Bill" (Barbara) Ostrenga of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Rosemary Smith, Sussex, WI, Carol (Carl) Newhouse, Little Chute, WI and Shirley Stier, Appleton, WI; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ostrenga and Florence Denessen both of Green Bay; brother-in-law, Henry Hendricks of Freedom; grandchildren, Andrew (Jennifer) Ostrenga and Rebecca (Anthony) White; great grandchildren, Madelyn and Will White, Robert and Greta Kate Ostrenga. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Jane Hendricks, Agnes Hendricks and Florence Van Schindel. A Memorial Mass was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Friends may call at the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum, 2121 Riverside Dr. on Monday, October 24, 2016, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Committal services will be held at 2:00 pm with Deacon Paul Umentum officiating.
