  Wildenberg, Monica E. (Van Ryzin), Monica Wildenberg, age 96, formerly of Little Chute, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 22, 1911, daughter of Roy and Agnes (Femal) Van Ryzin. Monica married Chris Wildenberg June 14, 1934, and he preceded her in death April 20, 1974. Mr. and Mrs. Wildenberg owned and operated Wildenberg's Quality Food Market, Little Chute, until their retirement. Mrs. Wildenberg was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Monica was an original member of St. John Mission Club and served as a communion distributor and choir member at church. She was also a member of the Little Chute Senior Citizens. She was an archer, avid bowler and golfer and was famous for her angelfood candy and english toffee. Monica loved to quilt and made one for each child and grandchild. Monica is survived by her children: Barbara Ferguson, North Fond du Lac; Mary (Gerald) Schumacher, Kimberly; Monica (Vernon) Meulemans, Wrightstown; James (Donna) Wildenberg, Green Bay; John (Geri) Wildenberg, New Windsor, New York; Anne (Doug) Stangel, De Pere; 34 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Albers, Kimberly; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Gerald Ferguson; four grandchildren: Chris Wildenberg, Chris Schumacher, Rebecca and Matthew Stangel; a great- grandchild; sisters and brothers: Gertrude (Harry) Schnoor; Jean Michalski; Rodger "Bud" (Grace), (Lucille) Van Ryzin; Mark (Dorothy) Van Ryzin; John (Marguerite) Van Ryzin; sisters-and brothers-in-law: Sister M. Barbara (Marie), O.P; Joseph (Jeanette) Wildenberg; Sister M. Catherine, O.P.; Helen (Hilary) Eckes; Josephine (Louis) Beyer; Barbara Wildenberg; Paul Albers. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, with Fr. David Funk O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. Friday until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established. Monica's family wishes to thank St. Paul Elder Services for their loving and compassionate care given to her the past two years and her final days.
