Wilz, Thomas G., AppletonAge 66, was received into the arms of his Lord and Savior Christ Jesu s, on Sunday, January 11, 2004 at Appleton Medical Center. He was bo rn in Appleton on February 27, 1937 to the late Leo and Marie (Kuehnl) Wil z. Tom served in the U.S. Army for four years, stationed in Germany. He re tired from Fox River Paper and worked at Lamers Bus Company. Tom enjoyed g olfing and driving bus.He is survived by his wife, Anna; children: Lianne (Edward) Hensley, Apple ton; Timothy Wilz, Fremont; Sheryl (Arnold) Bowers, Freedom; Nathan (Holl y) Wilz, Menasha; Derek (Rhonda) Wilz, Manawa; four step-children; brother s: Leo (Joyce) Wilz, Kaukauna; James (Ellie) Wilz, Appleton ; Russell (Yvo nne) Wilz, North Carolina; sisters: Patricia (Carl) Schoettle, Shiocton; V icki (Larry) Gorges, Greenville; Marie (Len) Chilicki, Waukesha; 15 grandc hildren; six step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In additi on to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wilz.The Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the V alley Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Nickel officiating. The visitation w ill be Wednesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thur sday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Communi ty Lutheran Cemetery in Freedom. Valley Funeral Home2211 N. Richmond St.
