Roland was born January 9, 1912 in Darboy, Wis., to the late William a nd Anny (Nettekoven) Hopfensperger. He was united in marriage to Angeli ne Hartzheim, sharing 55 years together before her death on January 15, 19 91. He later married Liz McCarthy on September 11, 1993. Roland found ed R. Hopfensperger Construction and R. Hopfensperger Realty. His greate st sources of pride were his family and his business. He enjoyed golfin g, playing cards, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.Survivors include his wife Liz, children: Ron and Marlene Hopfensperg er - Naples, FL., Maryjane and Jon Ashman - Turlock, CA,. Michael O'Rour ke officiating. Friends may call directly at the church from 9 a.m. Wednes day until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund h as been established for Affinity Hospice.The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all who helped dur ing Roland's illness.
