  Bernice M. Van Domelen (Schoenke-Reynebeau) of Appleton, died Thursday, August 19, 2011, at Brewster Village at the age of 87. Bernice was born July 4, 1924, in Little Chute, the daughter of the late Mathew and Louise (Marx) Reynebeau. She married Lee Schoenke in 1947, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. He preceded her in death in April of 1976. In 1988, she married Martin Van Domelen who preceded her in death in November of 2007. Bernice enjoyed rummage sales, rose gardening and being with her family; especially her grandchildren. Bernice is survived by her children: Dave (Sally) Schoenke, Appleton; Sue (Don) Jungen, Sherwood; and Richard (Merry) Schoenke, Wilson. Bernice had been the proud grandparent of several grandchildren: Steven (Stacey) Schoenke, Katie (Brian) Mitchell, Craig (Stephanie) Webb, Stacy Voldsness, Andre Jungen, Blake Jungen, Ian Schoenke, Lauren Schoenke and Bryce Schoenke. Bernice also had several great grandchildren: Ally, Olivia, and Lauren Mitchell; Michael and Sarah Schoenke; Mercedes, Taylor, Sonya, and Olivia Webb; Tavia Voldsness; and Rachelle Jungen; siblings: Rosella (Joe) Look; Orion "Poogey" (Louis) Reynebeau; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Reynebeau and Ceil Reynebeau; and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Bernice was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Florence Van Hoof, Myrtle (George) Roovers, Virgil "Butch" Reynebeau, Joe Reynebeau, and brothers-in-law, Ken Van Hoof and George (Jane) Schoenke. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Fremont St., Appleton, with Fr. Tom Reynebeau officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Bernice's name. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Brewster Village.
