  Ann "Anni" VanDerSteen, age 32, of Kaukauna, died on Friday, December 2, 2016 in Hilbert. She was born September 17, 1984 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, daughter of Mary Hopfensperger and Alan Young. Anni graduated from Kaukauna High School, class of 2003 and married Jason VanDerSteen on October 20, 2006 at the St. John Crystal Ballroom. Survivors include her husband: Jason; her children: Miah, Ava & Jacob VanDerSteen; her mother and step-father: Mary & David Halbach; her father: Alan Young; her grandmother: Berniece Young; Her father-in-law: Mark VanDerSteen; her mother-in-law: Vickie Miller and her significant other, Robyn Martzahl; 2 brothers: Jay Young & Gary Young and his significant other, Rachel Beard; step-siblings: Pete (Jaime) Halbach, Ann (Joey) Meyers; a niece: Alexa; and a nephew: Jeremiah. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert & Evelyn Hopfensperger and Ronald J. Young. Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Ann "Anni" VanDerSteen.
