  Donald P. Fox, 75, Freedom, died in his sleep during the early morning of Monday, April 26, 2010. Don was the son of the late Joseph and Adeline Fox and was born March 3, 1935. On May 26, 1959, Don was united in marriage to Jean Vande Wettering. Don spent his entire life dedicated to farming. The Fox farm was one of the first in the area to use milk pipeline automation. He enjoyed spending time visiting or helping at the friendly neighboring farms. His favorite pastime was spent with an acetylene torch, welder and grinder modifying anything he needed customized, and that was most things. His favorite colors were green and yellow. It was a requirement for his ATVs, tractors and lawn mowers. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Jean; his seven children, Mike (Cindy), Ellen, Amy (Joe) Alaniz, Karen (Steve) Brazee, Carol (Chris) Brewer, and Tom; nine grandchildren, Kaeli and Kiana Fox, Andrea and Jacob Alaniz, Sam, Josh, Grace, and Gabi Brazee, and Harry Brewer; four sisters, Barb (Merle) Wagner, Ann (Ron) Mueller, Linda (Wayne) Hatton and Rita Fox; and a brother-in-law, Ken Lorenz. Don is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a godson, Keith LaCount. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Greg; and a sister, Pat Lorenz. The Mass of Christian Burial for Donald will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name is being established. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna, is assisting the family. (920-766-2099)
