  See Image SISTER ROSANN GERRITS On January 14, 1947, our dear Sister Rosann went to her eternal reward after spending the last seven years of her life as a patient sufferer in Angels' Rest Hospital. (Designated hospital on Convent grounds for Sisters with TB.) Sister was born on February 2, 1912 at Boyd, Wisconsin. She was always very generous with her God, and in return she received the grace of a Religious Vocation, being permitted to make her Profession on October 4, 1933. After that she was stationed on active duty at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL, Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Washington, MO. She was soon to learn, however, that God's service does not always consist in activity. And Sister Rosann uttered that more difficult "fiat" to seven years spent in a hospital bed. Only when we reach Heaven will we know what these silent souls have done to serve their Master. Several of Sister's relatives were here for her funeral, the Requiem Mass being sung in our Motherhouse Church and burial on Crucifixion Hill (Motherhouse grounds). May she rest in peace.
