  Hooyman, Donald A. "Archie", Donald A. Hooyman, age 71, of Freedom, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Appleton Health Care. He was born November 28, 1936, in Neenah, to the late Arthur and Gladys (Little) Hooyman. Donald retired from Miller Electric after 25 plus years. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing, especially great lake salmon and trout fishing. He is survived by his five sons: Donnie (Sharon), Hilbert, Tim "Woody" (Tracey), Hilbert, John (Keli), DePere, Wayne (Sandy), DePere, and Jeff (Chris), Kaukauna; nine grandchildren: Nanette (John) Gerritts, Ryan Hooyman, Brooke Hooyman, Luke Hooyman, Kori Hooyman, Matthew and Alex Hooyman, Carter Hooyman, and MiliJo Hooyman; two great grandchildren: Hunter and Spencer Hooyman; three sisters: Cathy (John) Sloan, Pat Kramer, and Bonnie Hooyman, and a brother: Mike (Carol) Hooyman. He is further survived by the mother of his children, Carol Hooyman, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Buddy. Donald's Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. 920-766-2099.
