  Meulemans, Melvin C. Melvin C. Meulemans, Kaukauna, age 63, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2 004 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. He was born May 17, 1941 in Woo dville to the late William and Bertha (Gussert) Meulemans. He married Jani ce Steinberg on October 21, 1967 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukaun a. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a member of the Darb oy American Legion. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam con flict. Mel worked for Andrews Oil Company before working the next 27 yea rs as manager of the Great Army & Navy Surplus Stores in Appleton and Gre en Bay. He loved flowers and liked to travel. He enjoyed spending ti me at his sister's and brother-in-law's home in Breed, Wisconsin. Mel will be sadly missed by his wife Janice and daughter Missy. He is al so survived by two sisters: Delores (Vernon) Blodgett, Breed; Pearl (Willi am) Broeren, Combined Locks; two brothers: Ernest (Yvonne) Meulemans; Rog er (Audrey) Meulemans both of Kaukauna; a sister-in-law, Carol Meuleman s; a brother-in-law, Delmer (Carla) Steinberg, Shiocton and many nieces, n ephews, friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bertha Meulemans; a b rother, Howard Meulemans, and his wife's parents, Reinhold and Hazel Steinberg. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Wednesda y, September 22, 2004 at 11 a.m. with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Visi tation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In li eu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
