  Lawrence Quimby, 56, Appleton, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at Fox River Nursing and Rehab. He was born July 1, 1957 to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Loewenhagen) Quimby in Appleton. Larry attended and graduated from Plamann School. He enjoyed playing bingo, slots, fishing and spent the last twenty years living with his favorite Aunt, Janet. Larry is survived by his Aunt, Janet (Ron Much) Cummings, Little Chute; and many cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and aunts and uncles. Funeral Services for Larry will be held at 7 pm, Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at the Brettschneider Trettin- Nickel Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may visit the family from 5 - 7 pm Wednesday at the Funeral Chapel. A special thank you to Dr. Charles McKee, Dr. Thomas Rowell and the staff of Fox River Nursing & Rehab for their care and kindness shown to Larry. Larry will always be remembered for his friendliness and his smile. Now he will smile in heaven with Mom and Dad at his side. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on Jan. 13, 2014
