  Mary E. Vanderwalker, age 83, of Weyauwega, died on Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born on May 3, 1927, in Menasha, WI, the daughter of the late William and Alta(Schultz) Jensen. On October 3, 1952, Mary married Robert "Copper" Vanderwalker. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2007. Mary enjoyed raising, grooming and showing dogs for many years. Mary is survived by a son, Thomas (Darlene) Ales Jr., Larsen; a son-in-law, Thomas Geibel, Menasha; five grandchildren: Tracey Rymer, Tammy Howe, Tom Ales III, Tony Dietz and Tim Dietz; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Lalley , Appleton; two nephews, Bill and Chris (Kimberly) Lalley. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Geibel; and two sisters, Barbara Garcia and Sue Schaumann. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont. Pastor Alex Tychkin will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Mary's family would like to thank everyone at Weyauwega Health Care Center, Lakeview Manor and Riverside Medical Center for all of the care they provided for Mary.
