  Dorothy M. Van Grinsven, age 88, of Darboy, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Dorothy was born on April 9, 1923, in Kimberly, to the late Theodore and Gertrude (Emons) Thelosen. She married William "Bill" Van Grinsven on May 1, 1948, in Kimberly; he preceded her in death on September 21, 2011. Survivors include her five loving daughters, Marianne (Joe) Thiel; Cindy Van Grinsven; Cheryl Wuyts; Beth (Bruce) Krueger; and Laurie Van Grinsven; her grandchildren, Russ (Marcia) Thiel, Greg (Kim) Thiel, Bill Thiel, Heather (Joe) Totman, Nick (Tina) Wuyts; Justin Krueger, Jason Krueger and Lauren Krueger; her seven great grandchildren, and a great-great grandson. She is further survived by her sister, Theresa Zoromski. Dorothy was preceded in death by a grandson, her great granddaughter, and her brother, Ted "Sonny" Thelosen. She was employed at Doerflers, Kresge and Kimberly-Clark. Dorothy was a volunteer at Holy Angels Catholic Church for over 18 years, baby-sat her grandchildren and worked at Barb and Ron's as a seamstress. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH-DARBOY, W2796 Highway KK, Darboy, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established to benefit Holy Spirit Parish-Darboy. Jansen Fargo Funeral Home 204 E.
