  Anton J. "Tony" Rank, age 81, of 650 Madison St., Apt. 8, in Brillion, pas sed away peacefully on April 13, 2005, at Chilton Care Center followi ng a long illness. He was born July 23, 1923, in Gillett, son of the la te George and Anna (Aschenbrenner) Rank. He married Alice Cottrell on Ju ne 19, 1954. She preceded him in death on March 20, 1988. He than marri ed Helen Ott on June 6, 1989, at Peace Church in Brillion. Tony serv ed in the U.S. Army, guarding the Panama Canal. He worked at the Brilli on Iron Works until his retirement. Tony sang with the "Barbershopper s" in Brillion for many years and served as Cub Master. He was a member of the American Legion Post 126, serving as Past Commande r, was a member of the Brillion Historical Society and Holy Family Cathol ic Church in Brillion. He is survived by his wife Helen; a son and daughter-in-law, Ron (Carol) R ank of Hollandtown; his stepchildren: Sandra Meyer of Brillion; and John S eefeldt of Brillion; six grandchildren: Andrew, Shawn and Kevin Rank, Stac ie Cleveland, Katie Weiland, Kelsey Weiland; a brother, Carl Rank of Gille tt; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Alice; his daughter-in-law Dia ne Rank; two sisters: Phil DeBoth and Rose Kitzman; and two brothers: Edmu nd Rank and Leo Rank. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005, at H oly Family Parish, 1100 W. Ryan St., Brillion, with Rev. Tom Long officiat ing. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may ca ll at the Wieting Funeral home in Brillion from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 15 th and then at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of servic e. There will be a prayer vigil at 7:40 p.m. on Friday evening at the funer al home.
