  Becker, Alice E. (Stebane) Alice E. Becker, age 97, a life long resident of Brillion, died on Tues. A ugust 8, 2006, in Green Bay following a long illness. She was born Februa ry 15, 1909, in the Town of Holland, daughter of the late Albert and Hatt ie (Schmidt) Stebane. She married Adolph Becker in 1938 at Forest Junctio n. She farmed with her husband and also worked at the Brillion Iron Wor ks for many years. She was an active member of Faith United Methodist Chur ch in Brillion. Grandma will be remembered as a hard worker, a great coo k, an avid gardener and for her many crafting skills. Survivors include a daughter, Doris Endries, Green Bay; six grandchildre n: Randy Endries, Don Endries, Mike Endries, Dale Endries, Denise Hoffma nn and Ann Endries, 12 great grandchildren, a brother and four sisters-in- law, Ervin and Lorraine Stebane, Betty Stebane, Marjorie Stebane and LeMer yl Kozlowski, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Adolph on Oct. 31, 1978, a son-in -law Raymond Endries, four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Lillian (Ear l) Boettcher, Esther ( Milton) Lambie, Martha Stebane and Mary Ann Steban e, four brothers: Albert Stebane, Jr., Elmer Stebane, Rueben Stebane and C larence Stebane. Funeral services will be held on Fri. August 11 at 6 p.m. at Faith Unit ed Methodist Church in Brillion. The Rev. Dr. Cathey Rennick will officiat e. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may ca ll at Faith United Methodist Church, 204 Horn St., Brillion on Friday fr om 4 p.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brilli on is assisting the family with arrangements. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at Bro wn County Mental Health Center for the extraordinary care given to Grandma .
