  Bongers, Lavern M. (Kon s)Lavern M. (Kons) Bongers, 91, of Little Chute, passed away peacefully surr ounded by her family Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Franciscan Care Center, Apple ton. She was born July 1, 1914 in Little Chute, daughter of John and Odel ia (Schauman) Kons. Lavern married Ed Bongers, June 8, 1937.She was a lifelong member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little C hute.She is survived by her children: Marian (Ron) Revoir, Schofield; Jerry (Da r) Bongers, Appleton; Don (Nan) Bongers, De Pere and Joan (Tom) Spice, N ew London; 12 grandchildren: Cindy (Steve) Swiderski, Debbie (Jim) Lewitzk e, Dan (Chris) Revoir, Cherri Hunter (Robert), Mark (Sara) Revoir, Charle ne (Tom) Bongers, Bert Bongers, Vickie Bongers, Diana (Brad) Friis, Matth ew (Felicia) Bongers, Tim (Lanette) Van Cuick and Brenda Van Cuick; 23 gre at-grandchildren: Faith, Shane, Jeni, Stephanie, Gabrielle, Desiree, Ma rk Jr., Michael, Ryan, Terrah, Brandon, Evan, Rebecca, Daniel, Ashley, Log an, Tyler, Nicole, Joshua, Dawson, Mariah, Ryan and Kyle; two great-great- grandchildren, Austin and Alexis; one brother, Mike (Sally) Kons; two sist ers: Connie Ballard and Rita Fischer; and a sister-in-law, Alice Kons.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed in March of 200 3; sisters: Emily Ballard and Angeline Kons; brothers: Wilbert, Arthur a nd Raymond Kons.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2006 at St. Jo hn Nepomucene Catholic Church with Rev. Ken Frozena officiating. Interme nt will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. Friends may call at the Verkui len Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday. There wi ll be a prayer service Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.The family would like to thank Dr. Jack Meyer and the staff of Francisc an Care Center for their loving care of mom.
