  Geenen, WilliamWilliam Geenen, age 80 from Somerset, WI, died peacefully in his sleep wi th his wife of 54 years by his side on March 13, 2006, at the Greeley Heal th Care Center in Stillwater. Bill was born November 23, 1925, to Henry a nd Gladys (McCormick) Geenen in Freedom, Wisconsin.He is survived by his wife, Martha (Scray); children: James (Sue), Willi am Jr., Thomas (Jacqui), Laurie (Joe) Schmitt, Daniel (Tammi), Robert (Bri dgitte), Linda (Tim) Maitrejean, Kathryn (David) Burg, Michael; brother s: John, Patrick (Cecile); sisters: Sr. Mary James, Mary (Joe) Fox, Sr., T imothy, Sr. Rosemarie, Sr. Rosalyn; grandchildren: Stephanie, Charlie, Reb ecca, Luke, Levi, Jesse, Kenneth, Issac, Travis, Wade, Brittney, Briann e, Josh, Ben, Nicholas, Zachary, Skylar and Samantha.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Henry, Rev. James, Jose ph and sister, Catherine.William worked as a supervisor at the Tony, Wisconsin, School from 1963-19 64. He also was a superintendent at the following schools: Glidden 1964-19 67, White Lake, 1967-1974 and in Somerset from 1980-1985. He was a memb er of the American Legion, Knights of Columbus and the Wisconsin Associati on of School District Administrators. Bill was stationed in Japan from 195 0-1952 and enjoyed deer hunting and traveling to florida.Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006, at ST. ANNE'S CAT HOLIC CHURCH in Somerset. Visitation was Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the chu rch and also one hour prior to the service. Interment in parish cemeter y. Father Philip Juza and Deacon Maurice Baillargeon presided at the Mas s.
