Hi Jay, It has been awhile since I sent you and email. I have some wonderfulinformation about two of John Scholl's daughters. Catherine born 5/06/1839in Wurzburg, Bavaria, to John Scholl and Anna Altendorf entered the conven t6/14/1860 at the age of 21. She made her profession on 7/25/1863 andreceived the name Sister Laurentia She was a teacher all her life. She die d
5/23/1916 and is buried in Wisconsin.
Now for the really good news I have a picture of her that was at my Grandfather's house.
Next Gertrude Scholl daughter of John and Anna Sophia Scholl became a School Sister of Notre Dame in 1883.she died about 1917 and is buried in the cemetery next to the School Sisters of Notre Dame Convent in Elm Grove,Wisconsin. I beleive the cemetery name is St. Mary's. Her name was Sister Mary Lucretia Scholl.
